Okay, well, it's Monday morning while I'm recording this,

This, oh god, it's not a great start. It is a great topic though. So I'm going to go over the science of motivation a little bit. And given it is Monday while I'm recording this, I want to start by just briefly talking about

getting back on track after the weekend.

But this is also applicable to getting back on track after any small slip-up.

So let's use some examples from out with diet and exercise to highlight

just how silly it is to let one bad meal or one weekend over calories knock you off track.

So these are quite common, but would you slash all of your

tyres if you had one puncture? Would you drop out of uni because you had to do one reset?

Would you stop supporting the football team that you've been supporting since you were a child because they lost one game?

Or would you spill a little bit of milk and then just think, do you know what?

They just going to pour this whole jug of milk out onto the floor because, yeah, drop that little bit and it's just pointless
