If you follow me on Instagram or you subscribe to my almost weekly newsletter, then you will know that like a lot of people, I have been into the

documentaries and podcasts over the last few months that have come out about

scams. Let's see there is Netflix's number one

documentary The Tinder Swindler which as the title would suggest is about somebody who scams numerous women out of millions of pounds. I think they said something like 10 million after meeting the

Nintendo. I am not going to spoil it for you if you haven't seen it yet, but I will say

that when things start to unravel towards the end of the end of the documentary I laughed so hard I thought I was going to pass out laughing

Wasn't this person getting well I don't even want to say get neckmuppance because they definitely have not served

enough time for it but oh my gosh I was killing myself laughing after watching that I

actually watched the Puppet Master which is also a Netflix documentary this time about would you believe it

somebody who passes themselves off as a spy and he convinces people to go on the run for up to a decade at a time and to

part with hundreds of thousands of pounds I think it was like a million in total and he scanned

numerous women out of money being this this pretend spy I mean honestly and one woman has left like her two children and her

husband and has disappeared with him. Fascinating stuff. Then there was the

sweet Barbie podcast and that's no ordinary tale of Catfisher. It was the sweet Barbie podcast in the world for ages, that one.

And that was, that's no ordinary tale of catfisher.

It was the most bonkers tale of catfishing. It was the most bonkers tale of catfishing. Now remember,

catfishing is when somebody uses like a fictional online persona to learn the person into a relationship. Now I'd never heard of

somebody being catfished for 10 years but imagine not only being catfished for 10

years but then discovering that the person is catfish
