How are you doing?

This episode is the last one of 2021. And thanks to I do not even know what it is that I have but I know that it is not COVID at least the test say so. This is going to be a quick one because I have had a swollen gland

on the front of my throat making it quite painful to talk for any length for a few days now and I'm feeling a bit under the weather and I's like, it's that time for me to check out and have my rest and chill out for a bit.

Well, I say have a rest, but actually there's a possibility, there's not a guarantee,

that I might be working on the edits of my book The Joy of Saying No. You may recall that I

handed the draft in almost a month ago now so it's hedging up to be in about that time for the edits to be coming back.

I don't mind though because I'm up to Jamaica.

Yes, I am going on the 12 of January, well, O'Marion as I like to call it or the correct name

Omerichron permitting. I am headed to Jamaica for a retreat for a week in January. I am very

excited especially because Jamaica is my

heritage, but I have never been and the reason for that is that well my mom of course my dad was born there too

but my mom was born there and she came over to England in 1967 when she was 10 and life was pretty difficult

when she was here and she didn't go back actually to Jamaica until a few years ago and so because she hadn't gone back yet

guys you know how my mama rolls what meant that we were not able to kind of felt a bit funny

so I am going back next month and of course it's not like that sort of pilgrimage, you know, going back to your homeland visit, but it's a start. So I'm super excited about that.

Anyway, as I said, this is going to be a quick episode and I'm not going to do one of those

let's reflect on the year behind us and what's going to happen in the year ahead because of course we do not know and we certainly know this after a couple of years or almost two years of this

know what lies ahead maybe might have some ideas but there'd be plenty of surprises and I think what I wanted to share
