Welcome back to another episode on the Aaron Doudy podcast.

My name is Aaron Doudy and today we are going to be looking at and going deeper into a wound

that many of us have not only from physical abandonment but also emotional and emotionally

unavailable parents growing up and how that led to a feeling of abandonment as well.

And I want to share with you my journey and like the one thing that will really change

your life with understanding the abandonment wound and what you can do to heal from this

because if you don't heal from the abandonment wound then it's not a good picture.

And I've seen it on both sides of this spectrum.

I know that what happened is you know with myself I can look at and see the different

distortions in my own personality, the distortions and the way I show up in my life that came

from the abandonment wound.

And first off my parents were physically there and there were different dynamics at play

that led to the feeling of abandonment that I had as a kid that honestly led to a feeling

of loneliness and almost like a level of shame or belief that I don't deserve love.

And it's not something that my parents intended for.

It's something that just kind of happened.

But you know it's a it's an interesting thing.

I was talking about this just the other day like think about this.

Think about just this small little action right here and how this can affect a kid.

Imagine that you go to a grocery store is happening to me.

I've been at a grocery store and I see a mom talk to her son and the mom the son is like

five feet away and the mom's like come on Timmy let's go and Timmy's like no.
