Hey everyone, it's Tiffany. Welcome back to this week's episode of Raise Your Hand Say Yes. I apologize

for the quality of my voice. I have a little bit of a cold, but, you know,

what they say, this show must go on. And it's a good thing because I am so excited to be sharing

this interview with you today for this week's episode. I got to sit down and interview Alexandra Brown,

and Alexandra is the co-author of a book that came out last fall. She co-authored it with

the man who is now her husband, and that will be important in just a moment. And this book is called

Year Off, a story about traveling the world and how to make it happen for you.

Now, y'all know that I love travel and I also love hearing stories about people who do things that are non-traditional.

What I did not expect when I started reading this book was that while it is a story

about Alexandra and David's year of travel around the world and a story about what they learned

and their relationship.

They had just started dating when they decided to do this together, which you'll hear

me talk to Alexander about because that seemed really inconvenient and like some people

and her life might have had a problem with it.
