And this was another request that I had from one of my listeners who is struggling in her marriage.

And I often get questions about teenage kids, which I can totally relate to. I have two teenage boys myself and also friendships.

So I thought I would do an entire podcast on challenging relationships and talk about kind of my take on them and give you some ways to think about relationships and ways to be in relationships.

And you know, at the very least some food for thought.

So let's start with just the term challenging. You know, we're talking about challenging relationships.

What makes something challenging? Now, if you've been with me for a while, you know the answer to this question.

What makes something a problem? What makes something challenging is our judgment about it? Is our thinking about it?

You could have two exact same relationships with the exact same dynamics.

Someone can think it's a problem and that it's challenging and someone can think that it's fantastic and wonderful.
