This is the final episode of 2018, if you can believe it.

I've started wishing people happy New Year and sometimes I'll write happy 2019.

And I'm always a little bit amazed that it's already 2019.

So if you are feeling the same way, know that you are not alone.

This week I wanted to do a little State of the Union episode.

I wanted to kind of look back, look ahead, share with you.

I've been sharing a lot of my learnings this year.

We've had a lot of solo episodes.

I know because I've been managing my transition with our move and, you know, all of that.

And I thought it would be nice to sort of do a condensed wrap up and really look at what surprised

me about this year, what didn't surprise me.

And some of the things that really worked and didn't work.

In addition, I want to be talking about my word for 2019.

So we'll also do a little look ahead, as well as a, you know, look right now here where we

are in this moment.
