I'm here with Laura Heck.

We are here together today with Terry Reel.

I'm so excited to introduce you to his work.

He is easily one of the therapists that has had the most influence on my life, as well as my career.

And we're here today to talk about his book, Us, which is about

getting past you and me to build a more loving relationship. I got to read this book over the

last few weeks. It is profound. It is a really, really great book. You ought to pick it up right

away. I first found Terry about 20 years ago when he wrote a book about male depression, which was important

to me at the time. He then wrote a book about how to be in relationship with males who have

depression. And in the 20 years since then, he's built a career in couples therapy, really helping

understand how trauma affects relationships. And all of that is what we get to talk about today and it really is

just a pleasure. I think you will love hearing from Terry. I think you should pick up his book.

time, like last week? Wow. Are you just so exhausted coming off of that? Well, I got to tell you, Laura, what you don't know is that I, um, uh, that was Tuesday

through Friday 9 to 6, 30, most it was pre-recorded, I think of, but 30 experts and me.
