Welcome back to another episode on the Aaron Dowdy podcast.

My name is Aaron Dowdy and today we're going to be going deep on understanding the true

vibration of control and control in the sense that what is control doing to our lives and

how is it adding a ton of resistance, how control is a safety mechanism that our ego uses

to get the payoff of certainty.

It's literally kind of like a drug of something that's felt comfortable to us.

And the magic that happens when we begin to let go of the past conditioning and the control

over outcome, the control over other people and even the manipulations of our ego that

we're not even aware of.

Some of this I have to do with people pleasing being a nice guy or which really is exchanging.

It's trying to exchange and it's having a value system that says I'm going to exchange

and be nice to you, even though it's not authentic in order to get significance in order

to get your validation and a lot of times this shit, by the way, it's dense from childhood.

From a child from when we were young, we had different things that happened and think

about it like this like shit happened when we were kids.

Stuff happened and then what happened is we had this belief that we could not trust

the universe.

We could not trust our parents.

We could not trust ourselves.

So then what we did is we started to activate within us the sense of control.

We started to activate us, our ego to try to make shit happen.

So our ego in a way and our ego's main job is survival.
