Summary
#211: A sense of belonging is so core to the human experience, but for us folks living in codependent, perfectionist, and people-pleasing mindsets, we unwittingly hold on to stories that work against our human endeavor of belonging.
For us emotional outsourcers who are always looking outside ourselves for approval and validation, being mindful of and healing our stories about our ability to belong is vital, and that’s what we’re doing today. I’m exploring what to do when you struggle to feel like you belong, why cultivating connection is actually an inside job, and how to begin fostering it.
