Hello, everyone, and welcome back. Today we're going to talk about a really juicy subject.

Last week, I talked a lot about celebrating

and how we treat food and drink. Today, I want to talk about socializing and how we treat food

and drink. And I think there's similarities, but I also think that there's a lot of differences.

So today I'm going to dedicate our podcast to that. And for you to realize that it's that mindfulness, again, that we're bringing in what's going on through your mind when you're with people and you have food and alcohol around you, where are you putting your concentration? Because

wherever you're putting your concentration is where your behavior goes. So wherever your mind goes,

whatever it is your thinking, will create feelings and will create your behavior. This is all really

up to you. This is all a choice, not a destiny.

And this is where you get to decide what you want to train yourself to do, what you've done

before menopause, and now what you want to do as you go through menopause. And I think it's a wonderful time to change

anything that has not been working for you. And if you're trying to lose weight for the

hundredth time, like I was, over a 30-year period, then you know whatever you've been doing

And I think socializing is a big factor into why you might have that extra weight on you
