0:29.0	So as you know, at every 10th episode, I'm going to do a Lessons Learned episode where I talk
0:36.5	about one of my favorite teachers and what I have learned from them. Episode 10 was Byron Katie.
0:42.9	And this episode is on Stephen Pressfield. Stephen Pressfield is one of my most influential teachers.
0:51.6	His books are so well worn in my home. And it's funny because I hadn't read his work for a while.
0:58.0	It had been probably about six months since I had cracked one of his books. And when I was prepping for
1:02.7	this session, I was really excited to have, you know, just reconnected with one of my most fantastic
1:10.8	teachers and to be reminded of some of the lessons that he's taught me. So he's written three
1:17.0	books that I find absolutely unbelievably amazing. First one is Turning Pro. The next one is The War of
1:25.3	Art. And the third one is Do the Work. Those books in that order are my favorite. And I think that
1:31.9	everyone who is a life coach or anyone that has a job, anyone who's raising children should read
1:39.7	the book Turning Pro. First of all, Stephen Pressfield writes in a way that makes you just love
1:45.5	reading. He doesn't waste any words. And for a lot of people that write succinctly, it seems
1:55.6	because there's less words that the writing must be easier because it's more simplified. And I know
2:01.8	from personal experience that writing in that way is much more challenging. You know, it's harder.
2:09.3	When you just write down what's on your mind, it can be very lengthy. When you go through an edit
2:14.0	and edit and edit. So the only thing left is what's really important. That's I think the most
2:19.4	challenging way to write. But it's the kindest to the reader. And I feel like he really does that
2:26.2	beautifully in his book Turning Pro. So Turning Pro, tap your inner power and create your life's work.
