And the Hello everyone and welcome to the second episode of the disclosure podcast. I am your host Ed and I thought on this particular

0:27.2

episode. On the second episode we could discuss communication because veganism and animal rights there's so many different topics to

0:36.1

discuss and we will get through all those different topics and we'll discuss so many

0:39.2

different themes but at the same time I think it's so important that we look at how we basically communicate about

0:45.2

veganism and how we discuss veganism to non-vegans. And when I started my YouTube channel,

0:51.6

which was three years ago now, One of the first things I started

0:54.8

doing was having these discussions with people. Actually one of the first things I ever did on my

1:01.3

YouTube channel was I created a video series called

1:05.9

30 days 30 excuses and I recently remade that well I say recently but it was

1:09.7

January 2018 that I remade that so just over a year ago.

1:13.4

But one of the first things I did was that video series looking at different excuses,

1:17.1

which was really, I found it really beneficial because I learned so much.

1:21.2

And I'll discuss this a bit more throughout the podcast.

1:23.4

But I think one of the reasons I did that video series was because, you know,

1:27.2

after not being, I've been vegan for a little while, not too long, but and really only

1:31.3

started touching upon you know so many of the issues of

1:34.0

veganism and I'd only really started touching upon what it was like to kind of

1:38.6

discuss veganism even just online really it was it was all such new territory for me and I feel like there

1:44.4

so many different excuses that you get bombarded with you know we've all we've

1:47.4

you know for the vegans out that we've all kind of you know we've all really felt

1:51.9

what it's like to be about bombarded of all these excuses and so I kind of at the beginning challenged myself it was kind of a challenge to myself well in many ways the challenge you upload in a video every day but really the

2:03.2

challenge of learning kind of how to respond or learning kind of counter arguments
