Skyscraper Day. Ben as an architect you should tell us a fun fact about skyscrapers.

Well I was pretty sure you weren't talking about that terrible Duane to Rock Johnson movie

which I did watch on a on a recent flight.

It's a national holiday for that movie.

Yeah, I actually think like skyscrapers

are one of the least interesting building types

in architecture.

They're pretty much kind of like a one-trick design where most of the design is in the structural

system so it's more of an engineering problem and then there's like one or two sculptural

moves that articulate that structural idea.

So skyscrapers are cool.

They're just not that interesting of a design problem in my book.

I got a skyscraper thought that I just thought about right now or do take a hot take yeah it's a

testament to how much we love alliteration the name skyscraper like what look at it looks like it's scraping the sky. So you

just wanted a sc sound and you know it. It's not a sky reacher. Yeah. It's right so they had to have been in a there had to be an original name for skyscrapers, right? So where they just called high rises at first or something like this? Skyscratcher. Yeah, they had Sky Scratchers and then skyscrapers.

Yeah, that's that was the lineage right there. All right, but that's enough about

Skyscrapers. What's a we should tell the people if this episode sounds weird.
