What I found over and over again is that the problems the couples struggled with were more due to the ways they went about trying to talk about it than the issue itself.

So if there was blaming judgment, you know, demands,

they wouldn't be able to resolve what it was that they were struggling with and then that would add and eventually they would keep stacking up unresolved stuff.
