We have a lot to talk about. This has been... It's funny, you know? It's hard to say there's been any time in the last...

I don't know, I was going to say six months, two years. I mean, when is the slow news period been?

But this period seems... The last two weeks has been particularly intense and jam packed with events.

Now, some of that is because so much of what we have been dealing with, you know, kind of that the country has been dealing with,

that we as reporters have been, you know, working with over the last seven or eight months,

has been things that are of great consequence with the new Biden administration, you know, the shots and arms,

and the push to get this, you know, mega omnibus spending bill through the Congress,

and the so far unsuccessful pushes to get some democracy protection legislation through Congress.

Now, these are all things that are of huge, in some cases, even existential importance.

And they are, I mean, I'm actually not there talking about the democracy stuff, although that's existential in another way.

I'm talking about the climate component of what we're calling an infrastructure bill.

But in... But all of those things have been on a kind of a schedule.

You know, we know they're very important, but they're kind of moving forward,

and we're seeing how they progress. And in the last ten days, we have had this blow-up

with the withdrawal, the final withdrawal from Afghanistan.

And that is something that operates on a few different levels, because you have the story itself,
