Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the once ready podcast. Who's leading it? I'm leading it. I guess we don't know. We obviously don't plan any of this out. We just kind of go right into it. You know, we've got, you know, A run with four shots of espresso and a little bit of mocha drizzled in there.

0:24.0

Um, you know, it's not trench, but that's okay. It's not what I actually will say. I was, uh, when I was down at Herbie, I was walking around and I had a Starbucks. It's any port in the store, man. I was TDY didn't bring the stuff with me to make my trench coffee.

0:40.0

And, uh, one of the guys from trench walked up to me and almost slapped it out of my hand. He was like, what are you doing? I was like, bro, I got, I got coffee. I get out right now. I'm PD. Why? I got to get into the, into the dang beach out here and grab a coffee before I got into work. I'm sorry. He didn't bring me one either. So Jeff, what's up? Yeah. What's up? So, uh, yesterday you put out a, a story on, on the old Graham about frequently asked questions,

1:10.0

and we actually got some really good ones. So that's kind of what we wanted to hit in this. So it's just a three of us. We're going to be going through your, your frequently asked questions, some of which are really good and probably like, as you were going through the list there, and I don't know that we're going to hit all of them because there were a lot, but also at the same time, there was, you know, five or six, like really hitters that are probably going to take a little bit to go through. So, um, you have the list.

1:37.4

Are there some really bad questions? I'm, are there any bad questions? I actually haven't loved course. There were some really bad questions. Of course there were, and I like how, uh, I just want to clarify something.

1:48.5

Peaches said there were actually some good questions. I'm going to be honest with you guys. Sometimes we put this stickers out and it's 75 trolling questions about what to do. DJ fish sticks. I see your questions about the officers at A and S. We are not reading that on air dog. Okay. I see you. I see you. And I love you.

2:08.1

Be safe out there. Um, but every single one of these questions, there were two or three of these that I read that I was, I was shocked. I was like, Holy cow. This is an entire hour. I could talk to my friends about this specific topic for an hour on this one.

2:22.7

So we'll read out some of those and give you a little teaser, just something to wet your beak for something we may explore in the future. But we're going to jump right into it. Trent.

2:30.1

What are some of the techniques you use to recent your focus when chaos erupts? That's from off-grid Isaac. So some of the technique you use to recent your focus when chaos erupts.

2:42.4

Well, I mean, well, it depends on what's causing the chaos, right? But usually I just think about how nice my hair looks and it gives me confidence and then I recenter myself and I move forward.

2:52.1

It's a technique. Okay. I don't know. Okay. Let's breathe. All right. So yeah, real answer is, is, is, you know, breathing, take a step back. Look at the situation. Because obviously if I'm finding myself, you know, outside of my center and there's chaos, then I'm too deep into whatever problems that I'm looking at to see what's actually happening to see my way out of it. So like, that's why like the breathing thing taking a step back is really helpful because I'm able to like open up my aperture, see the problem for what it is. And maybe

3:22.1

different avenues of of ingress or egress and figure it out from there. But just taking that that small moment is is valuable for me and my hair.

3:32.6

It my hair, I actually found it helpful and I don't know when I started making this switch, I just lean into the chaos. Now when things are really, really bad, like when things are swirling around me, sometimes I just find myself giggling because it can't get any more ridiculous. The scenario can't get any worse, you know what I mean? Like, I'm either going to die and it's not my problem anymore or things are going to work out in some form or fashion.

3:58.2

And once you get to that end, I just sort of, you know, the tornado is swirling around you. If you can stop yourself from being emotionally involved and Trent had a great input there, right?

4:09.2

Calm your emotions down, realize what's happening in the area and then just take it for what it is.

4:14.2

If you just accept the scenario for it, this is chaotic things don't make sense. I need to find a way to make my immediate area better.

4:21.2

The first thing you can do is start with yourself, take a deep breath, chill out and then try to make sense of what's going on around you and then and refocus from there. So good answer, Trent, peaches.

4:32.2

I get how well do instructors work with the students that struggle to pick up new skills or learn stuff that's from Kendall, pofust 57. I'm going to mispronounce every single name on here.

4:43.2

Did you just assume that the chaos just goes over Jared's head so he doesn't need any techniques to get to the chaos?

4:49.2

We're trying to hit these quick hitters. That's a good point.

4:52.2

All right, we'll start with you there, Chief. Well, put a pause on that second one. How do you deal with chaos?

4:57.2

A mixture of Trent. What's wrong with you today?
