I used to think self compassion was wishy washy crap for hippies who wanted an excuse to accept mediocrity, avoid hard work and meditate all day.

Needless to say I was wrong and here is a podcast all about why self compassion will make you more proactive, procrastinate less. enjoy life more and remove your fear of failure.

So that is the reason that today's podcast is on self-compassion.

And please don't turn off if you're anything like me, probably up until about a year ago. like whenever I heard someone talk about self-compassion

or self-care, I would kind of switch off. Like, I used to think self-compassion was just

the people who were talking about it or maybe the way in which they would talk about it. And to be

quite honest, I still don't with a lot of people who are maybe like the

biggest names in self-compassion, or the people who speak about it a lot.

And I think what I've realised from doing a bit of research is actually they aren't the sort of

leaders in the field, unsurprisingly.
