0:28.0	and what perfectionism is in an all or nothing mentality
0:32.0	when it comes to recovery, because an all or nothing mentality when it comes to recovery
0:33.7	because an all or nothing mentality definitely does not work

0:38.4	It doesn't work for the addicted, I assure you.

0:42.0	Yeah, it's pretty maddening. Now it does work for some things. It works. It works to motivate you to do things right? But the outcome of a perfectionism mentality, what's the outcome of that?

1:01.0	Failure? Yeah, failure? Shame? If I'm not? If I can't be perfect, then I'm going to fail.

1:09.0	Yeah, a huge case of the efforts.
1:11.6	If you go do things out of shame that no no matter what you do you
1:15.6	could do really good things you're gonna create more shame right and so so when you
1:20.4	have that mentality it's a fear-based mentality.
1:22.6	If I've got to be enough, so I've got to be perfect,
1:25.8	then you're going to end up wallowing in a bunch of shame,

1:29.6	And so this all-or-nothing mentality really gets in the way of recovery and it feeds the roots of
