What you're going to get is three unique perspectives on recovery and

tools for hope and healing.

All right, today I want to talk about

consuming a woman versus loving a woman. So my thoughts today are addressed to

the people struggling with sex addiction.

But I think it's also helpful for the betrayed

to hear this and to understand the difference

between being consumed versus being loved.

And so what do I mean by consuming your wife

or consuming your spouse?

What I mean by that is using her for something. You're using her for something.

You're using her for validation.

Maybe you're just using her for pleasure,

using her to feel man enough, to overcome your shame,

and it creates a real cod-dependent relationship

where you need her in order to feel good enough and okay.

And there's really nothing more of a turnoff

than being needy and needing to consume somebody in order to be okay.

Let me give you some examples of what consuming a wife might look like, consuming a spouse. If you work your recovery and so you go to all of your

meetings, you do your therapy, you're a good boy and you do everything that you're supposed to, but you do it in a way
