What a fail.

Hi, this is Josh Marshall and this is the Josh Marshall Podcast.

It is June the 3rd.

We just had a little moment there, a first try at this recording where I got the month wrong.

And I don't know if that's still the sort of the knock-on effects of the pandemic,

where all days are the same and one year slides into the next and you're not quite sure whether it's been an eternity or like it's yesterday.

I don't know if everybody has this thing, but I have spoken to a lot of people who, you know, days are flying by for them with an unsettling rapidity.

And this is not just middle-aged folks like me who start getting concerned that days are moving more quickly than they did in the past.

But everybody in the pandemic seems to have this and yet you have that.

And then also at the same time, you feel like, good Lord, I've been in my house for a year and a half.

And so this weird kind of dilations of time where time is moving very slowly and very quickly at the same time.

In any case, we've got a few new developments now and they are strangely similar.
