| 1:36.9 | the Democratic Caucus in the Senate and also between the Democratic Caucus in the Senate and the |
| 1:42.0 | White House and at the same time you have what is I think largely a foreshow semi-public negotiation |
| 1:53.0 | happening between the two parties in the Senate and what is actually up for negotiation? |
| 2:01.3 | Well basically two things. One is this January 6th Commission which seems at this point pretty |
| 2:10.2 | unlikely to come to fruition as a bipartisan commission as something that passes in Congress |
| 2:19.3 | and then is created. I think if that fails there is the possibility that the White House will just |
| 2:30.0 | create one without involving Congress which they can do. But in any case that is one thing that |
| 2:38.9 | is going on and at least at the moment unless Kate has some update I haven't heard about yet, |
| 2:44.1 | there are two a grand total of two Republicans who are in support of a commission and that is not |
