And so, Pat, this book gets down to the nitty gritty of the tragedies that sometimes strike.

And what we want to talk about today is how do we strike back?

How do we, as believers, get to a place where when the tragedies strike, we can actually

cling to the Lord and not just survive but thrive in a way that honors the Lord in it,

even in the midst of pain, even in the midst of lament and brokenness. How can we persevere

through that? And so, I'd love you to open that up for us and just kind of hit some of the

highlights from your book on that. Well, you're alluding to a chapter that I wrote titled How

to See in the Dark. Yeah. And that's not just a clever title of a chapter. It really was me.

I mean, some things are just never seen spiritually speaking until we're in a dark place.

We're in that dark night of the soul, so to speak, whatever it may be.

For me, it was the day my wife of 16 years who gave me seven children. Her name was Nina,

had a heart attack and literally died in my arms.

We knew, friends, that you couldn't get enough of him last time. So back, by popular demand is the
