Hi there, it is February 14th, 2020.

So for those who celebrate,

Happy Valentine's Day.

If you've listened to me for long enough

or read the blog for long enough, then you'll know that I'm not really into Valentine's Day and never really have been found a very very amusing as a child when people are sort of running around to get themselves very

very stressed out about Valentine's. My mom used to get quite stressed out about

Valentine's and it was a lot of emphasis on effort and the gift on the day.

So it kind of didn't matter if you were near murdering each other for the other

364 days of the year.

You know, you better show up and show out for Valentine. So I think

between that and people sending themselves Valentine's cards and saying it was

from somebody else. I was like,

wow, Valentine certainly turns people into headless chickens sometimes,

but not always.

It can be a lovely day for some, but I do find that a lot of people

do have low level or sometimes even high level anxiety

about it. So I tend to see Valentine's just as a reminder about loving ourselves and loving the people that we love.

You know, that might be our romantic partner,

but that can also be our friends or our family members, you know, our children or our parents or

siblings or whoever it might be. And yeah, some people think about it just like

love in general, like just putting a bit more love add into the world goodness knows
