Today, we are going to, well, first we're going to talk about Matt Gaetz.

There really needs to be some kind of language reform with the guy's name.

I spent years thinking it was Gaetz, but it's Gaetz.

So it's just G-A-T-E-S, the normal Gaetz just spelled differently.

Anyway, we spent almost the whole of the last episode talking about his both serious and

sort of absurd scandal, not absurd in the sense of what seems to be the underlying crimes,

but just he's just sort of an absurd figure and everything he touches becomes absurd.

And that has progressed over the last week.

I think Kate was the first one to report yesterday that he's now fundraising off his statutory

rape investigation, which that's new.

That's normally kind of that's not a good scandal.

Some scandals are worse than others, but you would think that's pretty bad, right?

But we're in the post-Trump GOP.

So we're going to talk about that again.

There's a few different things going on on that front.

It's funny.

I just think I actually forgot the second thing we're going to talk about, but that's because

before we went on the air, we had started recording the episode, and my mic broke.

And I don't mean like broke, like it wasn't picking up the sound right, you know, you

have like a mic stand and you kind of adjust the mic so it's kind of at one angle.

And it just started like drooping.
