We're coming up on two months of the Biden presidency and we've got a range of news.

We have the COVID bill is now passed. That's done. The checks are actually already have landed

and lots of people's bank accounts around the country and that clearly, you know, that was the big,

that was the big story, certainly legislatively of the first, you know, six weeks or so of the

Biden presidency and that's done. And now we're looking forward to basically will there be more

of a legislative story to the Biden presidency. And as we've discussed in previous episodes,

that really all comes down to some kind of filibuster, you know, rough form as we're now calling it.

And calling it that for a reason, it seems very clear that there is no

bear majority. I'm not even sure if it really got down to it. I just, you know, we focus a lot on

like Joe Manchin and Chris and cinema, but I suspect if everybody had to vote like, you know,

tomorrow or something like that and they didn't get to hide behind Joe Manchin, I suspect there

are probably a good half a dozen other Democrats who would, I'm not sure they'd be against it,

but they would be a little wiggly on it. But what does seem in play now and seems like there

will be a majority for it is some reform that significantly changes how the filibuster works.

And the key there is how exactly does it change it? Everybody's talking about the term of art

is the talking filibuster. And we kind of all know, you know, kind of Mr. Smith goes to Washington,
