We have another episode for you today, a bunch of stuff to talk about.

We have the thing that I'm most interested in right now is still coming out of these

cryptic but I think easy to interpret comments from Joe Manchin of West Virginia on the Sunday

shows this weekend and I think I don't know if you went on every single Sunday show but

he went on like at least three or the four or a bunch of them, you know, where you kind

of make the rounds and these things are very, these things don't happen by happenstance,

you know, when you book yourself on every show and you clearly have one topic that you

want to get into with people and in my mind, it was a big deal because if you assume that

the filibuster in its current form is not going anywhere, which is certainly a pretty plausible

way to interpret the sort of statements of filibuster worship from first from Joe Manchin

but even more from Kirsten Sinema, right, a kind of like her whole ideology is just preserving

the filibuster. It's easy to think like, okay, you know, you get the COVID relief bill which

is great and the certainly the first priority but after that, like good luck, like nothing's
