Summary

Ooh, I loved getting to talk with Anna Guest-Jelley, founder of Curvy Yoga, for this week. We talked about so much good stuff: embodiment, spirituality, business evolution, creative instincts, body acceptance, permission. All of it around how to move forward when you know there's something more for you.

And while it's easy to only think about evolution when you hit a place of burnout, it's actually critical to realize that - in creativity - we're all evolving all the time. So, yay! Evolution is exciting! Oh, and it happens whether we realize it or not, so let's all get in the driver's seat, eh?

Welcome back to this week's episode of Raise Your Hand Say Yes.

I am so excited about this conversation.

0:29.8

I know I say that every week, but honestly, I have the best job in the world.

0:34.9

And I really do mean it.

0:36.3

I am really in love with the people that I'm

0:42.4

getting to talk to these days and the conversations that we're having. And it's interesting that

0:46.6

I've been hearing from a lot of you guys. Thank you, by the way, for reaching out. I love hearing

0:52.1

from my listeners. I adore y'all. Really, you're the reason I keep doing this. But I've been hearing from a lot of you that you've noticed that we've been going deeper. There's been more vulnerability, more, that things are just shifting, right? And I want y'all to know that, like, I feel that too.

1:17.8

It is sort of deliberate and also kind of accidental, right? And I think that a lot of times we will feel a greater desire for something or we will start to sort of be like, I wonder what

1:25.1

would happen if. And a lot of times we will start to dip our toe into things.

1:30.5

And almost by the time we realize that we're ready to like deliberately take a stand and say

1:36.1

something that we're a lot further than we recognize.

1:40.9

So I think that's super interesting.

1:43.6

And in a way, once you, once you kind of

1:45.9

ground yourself and like, yes, this is what I'm doing, then it almost feels like just coming

1:53.0

back home to yourself. And I love that. There's that Ram Dass quote that we're all just

2:00.0

walking each other home. And I think about that a lot with the work that I'm doing with my own business and the conversations that I'm having of like, what does it feel? What does that homecoming feel like? What does it feel like to sort of bring yourself back home? And in a way, I almost

2:19.2

think that it's like coming back into our truth and then like really owning that and harnessing it
