Dr Grace Lordan is an Associate Professor in Behavioural Science at the LSE, a director of their new MSc in Behavioural Science, and the founding director of The Inclusion Initiative (TII), a new research centre at the LSE. An economist by background, her research is focused on understanding why some individuals succeed in life and others don’t.
In her book Think Big she draws on her own experiences and challenges as a woman in the stereotypically male-dominated arena of economics, and as a self-identified easily-distracted procrastinator, to layout an easy-to-adopt road map to achieving your goals, whether they be personal, health or career orientated.

0:41.2 | what we can do over the long to medium term and we overestimate what we can do in a day. |
0:47.9 | And then we beat ourselves up because we don't get everything done on our to-do list |

1:31.9 | tons of this episode that I think you're going to find super interesting. We talk about how to |
1:37.0 | keep focused when you're an easily distracted procrastinator who Grace admits to being. |
1:43.8 | We talk about why our personal narratives are so important. So your |

2:02.8 | These biases are things that we all have as humans that are just running in the background |
2:08.3 | and causing us to perceive things, you know, in incorrect ways. And if we can be aware of them, |
2:15.2 | we can stop them from tripping us up. And she also shares the 90-minute weekly commitment that could be a game-changer for you. |
