Summary

Today we're going to go deeper into binge eating (in my program I call it storm eating.) I'm using another example of another client who was angry. Anger is the most common feeling women have a hard time dealing with. I used this client because she's newer and hasn't started journaling yet. I want to …

And today we're going to get rock and enrolling with some more binge eating and some more real life experiences with my clients. Remember, you cannot eat anger.

0:28.5

Hi there. I am very excited today because I want to continue what we were talking about last time,

0:36.9

which was binge eating anger. And remember,

0:41.1

anger is not a food group. And since I did that episode, what I realized is I have a lot of

0:50.4

clients who are eating anger more than any other emotion. So I want to talk about that a little

0:56.2

bit more today. If we're going to talk about binge eating, I want to help remember what we talked

1:02.1

about last time with my other client about how she was eating anger. And if you remember,

1:07.5

once she looked back at her food journal and brought it back to me,

1:19.1

And that's where all the aha moments came for her, is that she was willing to be curious

1:25.3

1:47.1

recommend doing a food journal, because you can go back and look at your food journal and observe it

1:54.4

from a totally different perspective. That's what I did with the client that we talked about last

2:00.2

week when she realized that she was really,

2:04.5

what she said, a little mad all day long, kind of simmering. And at the end of the day,

2:10.2

from five o'clock on, she was looking for joy in all the wrong places and really just not wanting to feel her anger. And at this point with where

2:21.7

she's at, it's not okay for her. She knows that something's not right inside of her and she's

2:28.8

willing to be curious and to look at it. That's what I want for you too. I want you to be willing to look at what you're
