And so if you opened this episode that morning you were treated to an hour

plus of all of my ums and awkward. I believed I talked to my children, off mic for a few moments. It was in fact a fitting

end to 2020 or maybe in some ways an open for 2021. I remember when I did that I got some

messages from people who thought that I had purposely uploaded the unedited version of the episode as a way to sort of express that I was letting go of perfectionism or something like that.

But in fact, no, it was a mistake that created, I suppose, a whole separate

takeaway from those end of year reflections. I've checked and triple checked this one. I think we're going to be all right
