Why I decided to start taking an antidepressant and what my initial experiences were.

I got some advice from my general practitioner, my family doctor at the time.

In retrospect, that advice was certainly questionable, but I hold no ill will against

him and I acquiesced.

I didn't want to take medication, but I said, okay, I'll do it.

And initially, my experience was that I thought it was an absolute 100% life saver.

It stopped my panic attacks, it lifted my deep clinical depression.
