Today is the first in a series of maybe two or three, I'm not sure how it's going to

go.

It's trying to keep me short.

Where I'm going to talk about a thing that people have been really asking me to talk

about for a very long time, and that is my own experience with anxiety medications.

But what I went through, and now specifically, I did not take benzos.

I was not a benzo user, so I can't really speak to that.

I use an anti-depressant and SSRI called PAXIL, P-A-X-I-L, here in the U.S.

You'd have to Google it to see what it is in your country, I don't know.

But I took PAXIL.

I took it for the nine and a half years or so between 1986 and 2005.

I'm going to talk about that.

I'm going to talk about my experience with it, why I started taking it, what it did

for me, and how difficult it was when I tried to stop taking it.

That's what I'm going to talk about in these two or three little podcast episodes that

I'm going to do.

They're going to sound a little different than the other ones, I think.
