0:18.0	Tectonics and fireworks at the last week is one week ago that we were all waiting in that sort of calm
0:27.1	before the storm that you have on the day of an election when all of the all of the news and all the actions are
0:36.3	done but you're not gonna kind of know what know what happened until you know the evening and you know it used to be on these
0:45.1	days that people be waiting for exit polls and sort of anecdotal information about
0:50.8	turnout and stuff like that but over the last 10 20 years we've all
0:56.5	learned at least those of us in the news business that all that all that stuff is
1:00.1	bullshit and it really tells us nothing at all. And in fact what we learned this time
1:06.1	is that the stuff we we're finding out at 10 and 11 p.m. on election night may not mean anything at all. I'm remembering back that you know I guess mid-evening
1:18.4	I was the TV part that I was you know to the extent that I was watching TV. I was watching CNN and you have John Kings and man you know it Biden
1:27.4	killing in Ohio this looks good for the upper Midwest if he's if he's already like gonna win Ohio it's really
1:34.5	you know so obviously that that was just a total mirage and meaningless I think in
1:41.1	the final final vote in Ohio was pretty similar to what it was in 2016 so what like a like a
1:50.8	5-6-7-8-point margin like you know not even close not a 5, 6, 7, 8 point margin.
1:52.5	Like, you know, not even close.
1:54.3	Not a, it's not a blowout state yet, like, I don't know,
1:59.5	Arkansas or West Virginia, but it's not close. It's not a swing state. And obviously we know
2:06.7	everything that has transpired over the last week, a few days with some level of suspense, and then increasingly no real
2:17.4	suspense and then calling it and then waiting a day or so for Trump to get
2:22.3	started on trying to steal the election after the fact.
2:25.8	So there's a lot to talk about and it is a pretty remarkable not surprising, but remarkable.
