Hi, this is Josh Marshall, and this is the Josh Marshall podcast. We are in this kind of weird

liminal space right now. We're about maybe exactly what is it two weeks and a day

after the presidential election actually after the national election which obviously included the presidential election after the national election, which obviously included

the presidential election.

And I would say we're actually two weeks from when we knew basically who the winner was.

You know, sometime on Wednesday, November 4th, we basically knew that

Joe Biden was going to be the next president. Certainly wasn't a total certainty yet, and was I guess I think it was the following Saturday

that the media organizations finally got around to calling it and and saying that

Joe Biden was the next president of the United States,

but pretty much two weeks since we've known what the score is.

And yet we are still in this very weird liminal election space where the outgoing

president certainly has not admitted that he lost and the Trump campaign you know

usually after the after the election is over, the campaign is over.

And there's usually someone they put in charge as a caretaker

because you have to wind down debts and stuff like that and some

miscellaneous stuff.

And usually sometime early the following year you hear an announcement like oh you know the the Biden campaign

officially shuttered today when the final debts whatever it's always a little harder for the

challenge you know for the loser because those debts are a little harder to

settle because you lost no one wants to get you know give more money to a losing

campaign and yet give more money to a losing campaign.

And yet we're in this weird kind of space
