Well, hello, hello, and welcome back to the messy table, an ordinary space for real women,

imperfect stories, and the God who's at work in our mess. Yes, even in the middle of winter,

when the grass is brown and the trees are bare and there's no sign of life, even when we long

to be in a different season. Yes, even here, and especially here, this is where God moves.

So if we haven't yet had the chance to meet, my name is Jen Jewel,

and I consider it an honor to host this faith-fueled conversation-style podcast,

where we get to dig beneath the surface and get beyond the highlight reel.

As we hear a unique story and

fresh perspective from someone you might walk by in the grocery store or see from a distance

in the school pickup line someone who might seem to have it altogether to never struggle but you

know that they're human just like you and we all have stories to. So this podcast is partnered with the women of my

church, like church, where we're also big time fans of the U-version Bible app. God's Word literally

in our back pockets for free in thousands of languages wherever we go. Where we also just love

locking arms with women from all over the world, all across

the global church.
