And part of it is because I enjoy communicating.

I mean, what makes us human beings and what distinguishes us from cats and cows and

camels and kangaroos is precisely that we possess language. And it's something built into us.

God created us in order to be able to connect and communicate and collaborate and cooperate

and cooperate and ultimately to create.

And languages at the heart of this.

This is why one of the most amazing things of having a baby is watching it develop language during the first year or two of its life.

And astonishingly, with all the complex rules of syntax and grammar and vocabulary,

somehow or another, children intuitively just link to language, intuitively being able to recognize the structure

of the language and to begin to talk it.
