I have a really lovely guest today, Shanil Turrell, who is a holistic beauty expert.

And she's also a natural makeup artist.

She does the makeup for people like Jasmine Hemsley,

Ella Mills, and lots of other wonderful people. And I met Sheneal at an event about a year

and a half ago and she was giving a talk about holistic beauty, conscious beauty, natural

makeup. And it really opened my eyes to a lot of things

I hadn't really thought about before and to an area where I think I felt quite overwhelmed by

before speaking to her. And so I wanted to speak to her more about how to demystify this area.

And so we talk about what makes something a conscious

beauty product. And so conscious can mean organic, it can mean natural, it can mean ethical.

She uses the word conscious to kind of encapsulate this whole kind of category of beauty products.

And she explains what this is exactly. We talk about beauty packaging, what we can do about it,

how to choose products that are packaged in a better way,

how to get rid of packaging.

And I ask this question, you know,
