Hello, friends, and welcome back to the Bikes for Death podcast after a short hiatus.

0:06.9

It is great to be back.

0:08.8

And today I'm not your only host.

0:10.9

I am joined today by Hillary, Laura, Tatiana, and Catherine, who all called in with questions for my guest today.

0:26.0

Who is Anna Jager, our 2022 Tourdivide winner?

0:35.6

She hails from Anchorage, Alaska, but I caught her in Denver, Colorado right before she attempts the Colorado Trail race that kicks off this Sunday.

0:40.8

So this is a fun and timely episode to hear all about Anna's Tourdivide win and get to know

0:49.3

her a little bit more before we start watching her dot on this year's Colorado Trail. Now, today's episode,

0:56.0

as I've alluded to, is going to be different than anything we've ever done before.

1:00.2

After I invited Anna onto the podcast, I had the idea, what if I got some women to ask questions?

1:08.5

So I put a call out on social media and we got quite a few. And then of those people

1:13.3

who sent in questions, I sent a call out and just to see if they might be interested in recording

1:18.6

their question for Anna. And we did get quite a few. So I appreciate that. And you're going to be

1:24.5

hearing from them later on in today's episode.

1:28.4

Most of today's questions came from women.

1:31.4

So I thought that this would be a fun way to get to know Anna and hopefully answer questions

1:39.4

that are more relevant to women.

1:42.0

And hopefully that will reach a larger audience and only help to grow the

1:47.4

participation in our sport and in the women's field so we had a great chat today and I can't

1:55.2

wait to get into it but before we do I want to tell you about a brand new event that Bikes for Death is putting

2:02.4

on, something we're very excited about.

2:05.1

It is called the Bikes or Death Takeover.
