The recovery process is magical. I mean, there's nothing there's nothing else like it that

and that we get to witness it every day and be around to see it and to help do whatever we

can to foster it. It's one of the greatest blessings I've ever had but in that sense,

these difficulties we know in our lives are a great blessing. Depression is a great blessing.

There's no other way in to the problem without some kind of precipitating crisis and so we're

in a crisis now. America's in a crisis, the world is in a crisis and the amount of addiction

is staggering. The deaths are, you can't even fathom it at the number of families this is touched

and almost as scary to me as the sort of low-level misery it's the lack of wonder and awe of

this incredible experience of this place, this life.
