Summary

How do you get your kids to eat like that?! 😅

We are constantly asked about our eating habits – from what we eat in a day, what we buy, how we food prep, what we feed our kids, and what healthy snacks we feed our kids – and in this episode we are going to share all about that (and more).

Name one thing that is worth achieving that takes zero effort. Nothing. It doesn’t just magically happen, just like being healthy doesn’t just happen. It takes effort and it is usually the harder choice. It takes being conscious of what you are fueling your body with so you can live a healthier lifestyle. Food is fuel. And the right fuel takes effort.

At the end of the day, it comes down to aligning your family values with your overall health, which includes what you eat. For us, maintaining a holistic healthy lifestyle always aligns with our Christian faith and the interconnectedness of physical and spiritual well-being. If you are curious about how those go hand-in-hand and are interested in learning more about how we align food with our family values, listen in! ♥️

In this episode we talk about:

  • Why real food is so important and how it impacts your overall health
  • Ways we introduce healthy eating habits with our kids
  • How we align our family values around health + food
  • What conscious eating + spiritual awareness have in common

I had cleaners come and so we have a clean house and we've started to set up beds in the kids rooms, move some things around, and the end of the

0:28.1

tunnel isn't just in sight, but it is quickly approaching.

0:32.1

Again, like any big remodel and as many of you know, it's never

0:35.6

really done. There's just a point in which you have to decide to be done.

0:39.7

Or decide to move back in because you're having a baby.

0:42.0

Exactly.

0:42.8

So that's been our kind of, what do I say,

0:47.3

our forceful factor in ending the project.

0:51.1

But, yeah, not ending it exactly yeah there's still a lot of

0:57.2

lots of nuance there but um getting to the point where you know we have

1:02.4

basically a move ahead of us because all of our stuff has been either

1:06.4

in our garage or our shop or been rotating through the rooms in which we aren't working on over

1:11.5

the course of the past eight months and what we should

1:14.0

have done in hindsight I think we said this on a past podcast is just put all of our

1:17.2

stuff into a pod so it's clean yeah but now we have like a lot of cleaning of our

1:22.2

stuff that's been in the garage but has gotten sawed us over it from people out there with wood saws and doing things like we just have a lot of cleaning it should have just been in a pod in the driveway and that

1:36.8

would have been frustrating but it would have been cleaner at this point in the

1:39.7

stage but anyways what else? We have a lot of organizing and and prep for having another baby ahead of us too.

1:47.0

So gotta get find all the baby clothes and stuff and wash all of that.

1:53.0

Yeah, something else that happened this week that was wild is Audrey
