Summary

They say our friends are the family we'd choose for ourselves, but so many people who struggle with friendship tolerate unsatisfying relationships the way they suffer through family they can't escape. This autumn, there will be several episodes on the topic of friendship. In this episode, Natalie looks at what friendship means and why tension, rules, imbalances, lack of genuine mutual affection and more, contribute to some of our angst about friendship.

I think like quite like crazy, but I think a very misty eye and just suddenly overwhelmed that my baby that I had just over 11 years ago has flown the nest

And so she was a dream student as far as the teachers were concerned because

1:46.2

she basically never gave a moment's trouble she worked hard but she wasn't

1:51.4

demanding of the teacher's energy and so she got lost and she was

1:56.3

struggling and summer has changed over the couple of years because she has become more

2:01.9

confident academically but she's also become more confident in her friendships.

2:06.0

I watched her walk into school with two of her best pals and it was just, yeah, I was just so happy for her.

2:15.8

And she's been coming back and talking about,
