Today's guest is none other than Jason FoxxSAS. You might know him from the Channel 4 TV show SAS. Who Dare's Wins?

He's written a book called Battlescars. So I thought I'd get him on. And it's, it's a

fascinating thing because before I'd even read the book, I'd, I mentioned this to him at the top

of the interview, actually. I'd written a load of questions that I wanted to know. I wanted to

know more about the mental side of war and what it's like to be a soldier rather than the sort of

Rambo-esque stories. And he basically, he answers them all in the book it's such a great read

thoroughly enjoyed it really enjoyed having him on the podcast there is so much to talk to him

about that you know we would have heard so we'd have to spend three hours covering his his whole life

story um but yeah just really really good stories and great insight into, hopefully it comes across

in the podcast.

Do you think it does?

Yeah, he's fascinating.

And it's very difficult, I think, for him, because there's certain things he can't say.

So you can see him. Every time you're asking a question, his answer is he's having to go, right, what can I say here? Do you know, I think he's

very interesting, but he has to, he has to hold something back, I think, doesn't he? Because

you're on, because of the MOD? Yes. Yeah. Also, you can't, That makes it really interesting, I think. Yeah, and also you can't be too flippant about war.

And especially in today's climate, which we're maybe quite rightly sensitive of what's going on everywhere.

And it's like, you know, so you've got to be very careful with what you say.
