Welcome everyone to a special Mother's Day edition of the DCL Duo podcast.

And we just wanted to send out a special Mother's Day greeting to all the Disney moms out there. And I thought I would just

take a moment to say, Happy Mother's Day to the better half of the DCL duo, Sam. She is a wonderful

Disney mom. And I know how much she loves taking Nathan on Disney cruises into the parks. And so, you know, Sam, happy Mother's Day.

Do you want to tell folks about some of your favorite memories with Nathan at the parks or on

cruises?

Sure.

Thank you for wishing me happy Mother's Day, Brian.

I would start by saying my favorite memory with Nathan is really from our first Disney cruise, which was

on the Disney Wonder out of San Diego. It was a little bit of a cluster that cruise because we didn't

really know what to expect with Nathan. We had been on a couple of cruises at that point, adults only. And so we were really hoping

that he would, you know, enjoy things like the Kids Club, which for his first trip, he did not.

That's since changed. However, my favorite memory is just him meeting the characters for the

first time, which I believe we waited in line at the

port to meet Mickey for his first cruise. And we were wearing our like Disney, you know,

family themed shirts. And he was carrying, uh, I'm trying to remember what stuffy he was carrying.

I think he was carrying a Mickey

stuffy with him at the time. And so we took like our first picture and just seeing his smile and the way

his eyes lit up when he saw Mickey. And then when we got on the ship and we got to, you know,

see all the other characters. I'd say that's probably the number one memory.

And that was also before he had ever been to any of the Disney theme parks.

And so I think it made it even that much more special.
