Alex, you were back in the valley this fall. You spent some time on the side of L-Cap and on the side of Middle Cathedral. What is your sort of go-to comfort piece of clothing?

I just spent six days on the wall with Tommy climbing L-Cap. And my evening routine that just screamed indulgent comfort like this is beautiful is I would take off my harness and my climbing pants and I would

change into long johns and down like puffy pants and then and then just put a slinger on my

waist and then and then I put my big puffy on top it's basically my Antarctic style puppy and then

you just feel like you're wearing a sleeping bag and you can just sit around on the ledge and just like

watch the moon rise you are a California climber through and through. Yeah, it was chilly though. Basically, I'm just using the advanced mountain kit. And actually, I found that it really made a difference because we were getting up way before sunrise because we wanted to be climbing as soon as it was light. went went as well as i could hope really it was great uh clangling's fun and had a good time um we thought in the

whirlwind of media that you're in right now we do a quick debrief before getting back to our regular

scheduled programming um we've got some great episodes coming up the candid interview with maybe the one climber who might be more famous than you,

All right. all right Alex the no hands rest with the kneebar inside the great was it planned or spontaneous i was kind of spontaneous i mean i knew that i could and i knew that it's obviously good style points to go on our hands anywhere. But, you know, I certainly didn't have to do that. But I was like, oh, this is cool. There were a bunch of things like that because I don't know, I haven't seen the broadcast yet, so I haven't seen like what went in the show. But I did some pretty cool campuses, like right below that, I think it is that that I was kind of proud of like some pull through just like ladder campuses that I felt really good about. I was like, you know, same thing. It's like, obviously, you don't have to do that, but it's way better stop points. You know, I didn't watch it live. You know, like I've been rumbling around in Japan, but I pulled it up last night. And I, in general, I was just psyched. You seemed genuinely happy. And I'm curious, like, on a scale of one to ten, how much fun was that for you? Because you looked like you were having a blast. Oh, it's pretty fun. I mean, yeah, I don't know, on a scale or one to ten, I'd say it's like seven fun. Just seven? Yeah, maybe eight, but like, maybe eight. Okay. But it is kind of stressful. I mean, it was quite windy. And it's one of those things where it's like, you know, you're having a great time, but you're still free soloing a thing on freaking live TV and you don't want to fall off. And so you still, you're like clamped on pretty tight and it was I don't know if you can you know I haven't seen the broadcast so I don't know if you

can tell how windy it. And it was, I don't know if you can,

you know, I haven't seen the broadcast. So I don't know if you can tell how windy it was, but it was like pretty gusty. And it was coming like right around the corner that I was climbing. So basically depending on which side I was on, I was like getting pretty buffeted. And so, you know, I was like, oh, you got to pay attention and not like botch it.

You know, you don't want to be like, look, guys, this is so fun.
