All of the final awards edition here in the 23-24 season.

I joined momentarily by Daniel Lourieu and we're going to go through pretty much all of the official awards we've

separating a few of them out into different podcasts including defensive

player of the year and all defense and then we're not going to do most improved or clutch player of the year today either.

Those will be on separate shows.

We'll see if we get to clutch player of the year actually, but I guess it's an official

award. We're probably going to do it but another official

award Danny is the most valuable player of the NBA. It is and one thing I will say at

the outset that I'm extremely happy about is that the to me the top

four contenders the players who will comprise my first two tiers all have played roughly

the same amount of minutes so this isn't a circumstance of oh this guy was a little bit better, but this guy played 200 more minutes,

so I'm going to put him higher an MVP. I'm really happy about that.

But as I said, to me, it gets into two tiers tiers and of course we should start with

tier one because that includes the number one choice and for me that choice is

Nico Yokich versus Schengel-Dis-Alexander. Yeah do you agree with my

assessment that it's pretty much a dead heat

statistically or do you feel like one has more of an advantage over the other there?

I do think that it's close to a dead heat.

Yoko and Shay have very similar overall part no total usage,

so roll within their offenses.

They're at 48.6 for Yolkich, 47.9 for Shay.

That's very, very comparable for those two players.
