Summary

It’s time for the most thorough evaluation of NBA defense you are going to find. We pick our official positionless All-Defensive Teams, sure, but we really have some fun picking the best defenders at each position 1-5. Then it’s time for Worst-Team All-Defense, as we select the weakest defenders at each position and the No-Defense Player of the Year. Plus, Nate has his picks for the defenders who most improved and declined this year, and a few categories including: Best post defender Best getting over screens Best rim protector Best iso defenders Most disruptive Does the most with the least Does the least with the most Better than you think Worse than you think

locked in and put in the time to do the defense episode not just defensive

We're going to do our best defenders by position

rankings that seems appropriate especially because defensive role is an

1:17.5

important component in those delineations when they happen that said we will make some discussion of players in the position that they're actually playing this year if that deviates a little bit

1:29.5

So the most common of that are players we have at Small Forward who play Power Forward right now just because

1:34.9

Small Forward is a harder position to play.

1:37.3

In those cases, I don't have too many of those guys who are going to be all defense or

1:41.7

no defense, but in the cases where that comes up and part of the fun of this is

1:46.0

appreciating the differences in how player and how that can work I mean you could bring this up at the

center spot where BAM can occupy more of a
