He's also the co-founder of the Zen Hospice Project and a beloved Buddhist teacher.

He's the leading voice in the end of life movement and is one extraordinary man.

The Five Invitations is about how we can show up

and be more fully present and engaged in every moment. It's not always easy, especially when we're

all challenged at some point with death and loss and all the things that take us to our itches.

But he shares how we can focus more on what

matters most. What he's learned is that when we get to the end of our lives, the two most

important and most often ask questions are, did I love well and am I loved? He reminds us how we can live rich lives inviting in all of our feelings and emotions,

pushing away nothing, and that there is some beauty in both joy and sorrow.
