0:28.0	U.S. As I say, it's somewhere else. And it's an area that you may not be familiar with, may not have
0:33.1	background with. But it also can be one of the most interesting and profitable areas of investing
0:38.8	if you do it right. So I wanted to bring on a guest to the show today. We have Kevin Carter.
0:43.8	How you doing today, Kevin? Hi, good. Kirk, great. Thanks for us. We brought Kevin on to really talk
0:48.8	about emerging markets because I really wanted to talk about this asset class. To me, this is a
0:53.7	constantly fascinating asset class with a huge amount of opportunity.
0:58.1	We wanted to bring somebody on who really has a lot of experience. So, Kevin, can you kind of give us a little bit about your background?
1:04.2	I mean, the San Francisco Bay Area, I've worked in the investment business here for 28 years. I had one interview before I started and it was a 20-minute interview,
1:13.9	which 19 minutes of which was talking about college basketball. And then I got a one-minute
1:19.2	overview of the investment business and then I was told I could start Monday. And I said,
1:24.1	well, how can I possibly start Monday? I don't know anything. And the guy that was interviewing me said, go buy this book. And he said, well, how can I possibly start Monday? I don't know anything.
1:30.7	And the guy that was interviewing me said, go buy this book.
1:33.5	And he wrote down a random walk down Wall Street.
1:36.2	And so I started by reading that book.
1:42.6	I know you know about, but I'm an Omaha Warren Buffett sort of person first and foremost.
