Welcome back, I'm Rebecca. And I'm Gabe, and welcome to our summer series, Building Resilience,

I'm so excited about this conversation today. Well first of all, how are you doing Gabe?

I'm great, I mean it's summer. It's hot. The garden is going nuts.

It is overkill. So you know Rebecca talks a lot about gardening in her book, and this has been

a journey for us, but I feel like, man, this year got easier. It just felt like, we know what we're

doing, and we were always told that. Like the first year is going to be really hard. Second year,

you're going to benefit from the lessons learned. Third year, it's going to be feeling pretty

natural, and it really has. It's been natural. It's been natural. Maybe that's why it's feeling so good.

You know what? I remember early on, somebody even like, if you can get through three years,

you'll learn what you don't like, what to do, what to plant, what not to plant, and to plant.

Win to plant. Less of the beds, because it goes nuts. We're so over-eager year one. I know.

And then year two had all the June beetles, and somebody said plant a little later, and you'll

you'll avoid that. Yeah. So we are dialing it in. We're four-year amateurs.

Well, in this year we had some tomatoes that just started to pop up, and we didn't really plant

them in, but evidently some seedlings have gotten over there, and we're like, we're just going to
